This page will be used to collect frequently asked questions on how to contribute to Wikipedia and other related sites to improve Buddhist information and knowledge on the web.

  • Motivations 為什麼要做這件事？

    When someone wants to find more about a certain Buddhist concept or piece of information, they would heavily rely on Web Search Engine (Google, etc.) and Encyclopedia sites (Wikipedia, Rigpa Wiki, etc). This video shows some user scenarios that motivate our effort of improving Web presence of Buddhist information.

  • Register Account & Visual Editor 註冊維基賬戶-可視化編輯

    It’s recommended to edit Wikipedia with a valid account logged in. Although not required to edit an article, registering a Wiki account will gives you lots of benefit of having a Talk (discussion) page, tracking off the changes, watch certain pages, etc.

    雖然編輯維基百科頁面不需要註冊並登錄維基賬戶，但我們建議使用維基賬戶來編輯，登錄後的額外好處：有討論頁面（別人可以跟你互動，如留言、發消息等），瀏覽自己的所有改動記錄，監視頁面（當有別人改動時，會收到郵件提醒）等等。
